The University of California Initiative for Fusion Energy (U-CLIFe) workshop is part of a series of workshops supported by the University of California, Office of the President. It will be held on December 10-11, 2024.
The conference organizers are world-renowned fusion energy experts from three US National Laboratories (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) and UC campuses including (UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, and UC Santa Cruz). The conference organizers believe that fusion energy has great promise to emerge as an abundant and clean source of energy.
While there has been great progress on fusion energy research, important research questions and engineering and design challenges remain before fusion energy can successfully transition from the laboratory to a commercially viable power source. To address and solve these challenges, join us and register for this workshop.
The deadline to register for the event is Friday, November 29, 2024
